Who Pays
Private Pay – The resident pays with their
own personal funds from a pension, retirement account,
CD, savings or other source of income.
Medicare - Medicare/Managed Care HMO - Medicare is a program of the federal government designed to provide medical insurance for persons over the age of 65 or older, or for people who are permanently disabled. Medicare Part A pays for inpatient hospital care and services at skilled nursing centers for up to 100 days if medically necessary following a 3 day in patient hospital stay. Most managed care coverage is accepted. Call Sanctuary at the Park for details or questions.
Medicaid – Medicaid is a Federal and State
of Michigan program administered by the local Family
Independence Agency for those needing assistance to
pay for all or part of their healthcare expenses. If
a resident is eligible for Medicaid based on their income
and assets, Medicaid will pay all or part of the cost
of skilled nursing care, as long as care is determined
medically necessary. Click

Long Term Care Insurance – Some residents
have specific insurance policies to cover the cost of
long-term care services.Sanctuary at the Park
is happy to work with insurance cases on an individual
basis. All private insurance billing by Sanctuary at the Park is done as a convenience to the resident
and their family. However, the resident will have the
financial burden to fulfill the payment to Sanctuary at the Park.
Hospice – Sanctuary at the Park
partners with Hospice to provide end of life services.
Many of the payment options can apply to hospice care
at Sanctuary at the Park. We will be happy to
discuss those with you at your request.
Private Insurance - There may be times when
a resident has been involved in an accident and there
is either automobile or other liability insurance responsible
for payment of resident’s medical expenses. Sanctuary at the Park is happy to work with insurance cases
on an individual basis. All private insurance billing
by Sanctuary at the Park is done as a convenience
to the resident and their family. However, the resident
will have the financial burden to fulfill the payment
to Sanctuary at the Park.
